The stretch of shops and boutiques on Beverly Hills' Rodeo Drive is only three blocks long. It begins at Wilshire Boulevard on the south, and runs north to Santa Monica Boulevard, where the commercial section of the street gives way to an affluent residential neighborhood. But those three short blocks constitute the most famous shopping district in America, and probably the most expensive three blocks of shops in the world. It is here that the rich & famous do their shopping, and where tourists window-shop while trying to spot movie stars on the fabled street. The most celebrated clothing designers in the world have boutiques here: Armani, Gucci, Christian Dior, Coco Chanel, Ralph Lauren, Valentino... The jewelry stores boast names like Cartier and Tiffany. Other nearby stores include I. Magnin, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Yves Saint Laurent, & Pierre Deux. |

Still the top celebrity destination on the talk-show circuit, 'The Tonight Show' has been an institution for almost fifty years, from Steve Allen to Johnny Carson. Most shows are taped exclusively at NBC Studios. Despite its huge popularity, it is one of the few shows that make some tickets available every day on the day of the taping. Taping Season: 'The Tonight Show' tapes 47 weeks per year, Monday through Friday 4:30-5:45PM (except for major holidays). All taping dates are subject to change. Audience Info: Guests must be in line by 3:45PM at the very latest or will likely be sent away. Tapings usually last a little over an hour. No cameras, video equipment, cell phones, beepers, bags, backpacks, radios or recording equipment allowed. All guests must be 16 and over with photo ID.
Universal Studios Hollywood is also offering guests exclusive guaranteed seating to "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" with Priority Seating Passes distributed free at the theme park's Silver Screen store. Other than at the "Tonight Show" box office, Universal Studios is the only place to access "reserved seats" free of charge to the number one rated late night talk show. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis each Friday for selected shows taped the following week. All tickets are subject to availability; a maximum of six priority tickets will be available per group, and guests must be 16 years or older. Jay Leno frequently visits Universal Studios Hollywood as part of his signature 'Jay Walking' segments. The questions Jay asks our theme park guests get some hilarious responses. |
