The 5th Annual International Umbilical Cord Blood Transplantation Symposium held in Los Angeles, California at the Marriott at LAX was a tremendous success! Thank you to all who participated. Keep your eye on this website for further details on the 2008 Symposium, which will be held in Los Angeles on June 6 - 7, 2008. Register now! We are sorry, but due to overwhelming demand, the CD containing the audio and the slides used by the lecturers is no longer available. The 4th Annual International Umbilical Cord Blood Transplantation Symposium was held May 19-20, 2006 in Los Angeles. The goals of the symposium were:
The 34 member faculty for the Symposium included leaders of the major transplant centers from around the globe. Attendees were from Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, France, the UK, Israel, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina, Malaysia, India, Sweden, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Slovak Republic, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Greece, Netherlands, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Korea, Thailand and from across the USA. A CD containing the audio and the slides used by the lecturers at the 4th Annual Umbilical Cord Blood Transplantation Symposium is still available in limited quantity. Those who attended the Symposium will be receiving one in the postal mail within about a week.
